Calculator inputs
The calculator runs in your browser. It does not submit your age, sex, region, BMI, height, weight or habit selections to a LifeExpect server. The site has no account system or saved calculator profile.
The calculator does not use cookies, localStorage or sessionStorage to retain inputs. Values remain in the current page until you reset or leave it; your browser may also retain page state in its own history or session features.
Sharing and downloaded summaries
The default share link opens the calculator without inputs. If you tick “Include my inputs”, the generated link contains your selections in its fragment—the part after the # character. Anyone with that link can read and reproduce them. The link is not encrypted or private access.
A URL fragment is not sent as part of the normal HTTP request to the web server. However, anyone who receives the full link, your browser, clipboard, chosen sharing service or browser extensions may still access it. Choose carefully before sharing.
Older links with inputs after a ? still work. Such query strings are sent in the initial web request and may appear in server logs before the page can clear them from the address bar. New links avoid this format.
A downloaded summary contains the inputs and result shown when you download it. The file is created on your device. You control where it is stored and whether it is shared. Reset clears the page; it cannot erase copies already downloaded, shared or retained elsewhere.
Hosting and technical information
Opening any website sends technical information such as an IP address, requested URL and browser information to its hosting infrastructure. Hosting or security providers may keep access and error logs. This is separate from the calculator’s local processing.
The website code includes no analytics tracker or advertising request. Fonts and interface assets are served from this website. No cookie consent choice is needed to run the calculator itself. If additional tracking is enabled in future, this notice and any required consent controls must be updated before it starts.
External and commercial links
Official reference links open independent websites with their own privacy practices. The optional commercial resources use ClickBank affiliate links. Following a link may involve redirects and allow the destination or affiliate service to use cookies or other attribution technology.
LifeExpect does not automatically load those destinations or send your calculator inputs to them. External links use a no-referrer setting. Their privacy practices apply after you choose to visit them.
If you contact us
Emailing hello@lifeexpect.com shares your email address and the message you choose to send through email providers. Messages may be kept while handling the request and for necessary follow-up. Please avoid sending sensitive medical information.
You can ask about information you have supplied, request a correction or request deletion by emailing the same address. Where applicable law gives you additional data protection rights, those rights remain available. We cannot retrieve a calculation that was never sent to us.
